Highlight of the day was listening to older men talk about their early fatherhood days. One man mentioned driving his baby around in the car just so he would stop crying. He also mentioned coming home during his lunch break just to help his wife for a few minutes. I laughed at all their stories. One of the men looked at me and said, “You’ll never appreciate your parents until you have your own children”. Totally agree. I can’t wait to hold my crying baby in my arms. I can’t wait to share my life with my child and husband.
